August 6-10th 2002 Road Trip. San Francisco/California coast. Took two days off of work before my official vacation (thanks joe!) and headed on a road trip to San Francisco and back w/ Renah and robots. Down I5 to sanfran for two days, then up the coast to Arcata to visit Renahs sister, then back to Seattle. Among the attractions we came across were naked beach goers, robots with a liking for large blue balls, Wild Turkey, hippies, hippies, hippies and hippies. Good getaway  Making robots for the trip. (last one got destroyed in chicago)  Melissa waiting for us to get the hell out!  11 hour drive to San Francisco  Legs  Pulled into town at 6am and crashed at my sisters friends house in the mission district. 3 pugs were freshly awake from sleeping and attacked us  I hate getting up  Morning run  Bo the pug  Breakfast at BitterRoot in the mission  Mimosa at BitteRoot  Old man mohawk.   View from Twin Peaks up above the city          We hiked up to another little peak just above the main one             Drove around town and ended up in haight district. HIPPIES!  We of course stopped for a shot of turkey    Amoeba, great music store in the haight.   Beach just west of Pacific Heights     You could see his ass, his pants were all ripped open             Wooooo!  Big windmill by the beach        Old public baths up on the cliffs.          What the hell? Urine Town?   Chinatown!      On the way to Coit tower we found this great old cathedral and stopped in for a bit. Down at the waterfront. Seals took over a bunch of slips and the city just let them have them     Baker Beach in the Presidio. There you go. These guys scare children.         well it was a naked beach after all  Dirty parts      Digging a hole   and putting myself in it      Golden gate bridge     Punk rock renah       Having a few drinks Friday night in the Hayes Valley area by our hotel  Renah and the Turkey    Snapped this for Katie. The peds are out there      Had to finish our robot heads the next morning. Yes I stole your hot glue gun Melissa   Looks like i fucked up my photoshop batch sizes here.. im too lazy to fix it.     Robots trying to take over city hall   Driving north on 101 to Arcata     Stopped in the Redwoods a few times. mMMmMMM hotdogs      Snoring   Renah's sister got us into the racetracks. This was SO great, not for the races really, but for the quality of the white trash that showed up for the event. I wouldnt trade this memory for anything       Shop in arcata, going to steal their tshirt ideas and screenprint some up.
